Accreditation
INSTE is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education and Training Council, DETC, Washington, D.C. We chose DETC because of its reputation as the leading accrediting agency for distance education in the United States and abroad. As a member of CHEA (Council on Higher Education Accreditation), DETC is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting agency. Its standards, both academically and ethically, are very high.

Affiliation
INSTE is affiliated with the Department of International Ministries of Open Bible Churches and is governed by the INSTE Board of Directors whose knowledge and expertise in mission and education assure continued adherence to its goals and objectives. Since its inception INSTE has worked multi-denominationally with churches that share our evangelical faith.

Non-Profit Corporation
INSTE is incorporated in the State of Iowa as a non-profit corporation. As a 501(c)3 exempt organization, INSTE is qualified to receive tax-deductible gifts.
